FACT: During a May 3, 2017 Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing, former FBI director James Comey testified that neither Trump, nor members of the Trump administration, ever attempted to obstruct or otherwise try to interfere with ongoing investigations. In fact, Comey has never sensed any pressure applied to him or the FBI to stop investigations into the debunked myth of Russian involvement in the 2016 elections.
James Comey contradicts memos paraded around by Democrats two weeks later that allege President Trump pressured the FBI to drop an investigation into former National Security Adviser, Gen. Mike Flynn. Nothing could be further from the truth, directly from Comey’s mouth after meeting with Trump in January, and days before getting canned.
